Description:
I wanted to create a piece highlighting by name many of the areas in Haiti affected by the earthquake. This quickly led to drawing the shape of Haiti in type. I also wanted to connect with the French history of Haiti. Visual cues were taken from vintage French typography and old maps. I am a freelance designer and illustrator and recent design school grad.
