Like many people, we were horrified by the magnitude of the devastation in Haiti after the earthquake. But we were also profoundly disturbed by our own ignorance of the plight of this unique, beautiful country before it was shaken to its core. This sense of absence/presence inspired this poster. The two crosses present the beginning of a pattern, creating an "H" out of the negative space between them. We support the genuine effort of this pattern, the best kind, a human one: to fill this space with help and hope.
