This tragedy really took a tole on me emotionally and I wanted to do something about it. When I came across the email about "The Haiti Poster Project" I felt this was my opportunity to make a contribution. I really wanted to give this illustration a more emotional approach then anything I have worked on in the past. A friend of mine sent email with words from Mahatma Gandhi that said " Be the change you want to see in the world. " Sometimes we find ourselves sympathizing more then actually putting an effort in to help make a change. My mother told me growing up "Never look down on someone unless your willing to help them up " and in these unfortunate times a helping hand is better then just sitting by and watching it happen. I really want to thank those who put fourth this effort to help make a difference and I feel privileged to have been apart of it.
